What power tools do I need for this?
You will need a scroll saw (or you can use a band saw, but Jen will be demonstrating and teaching with a scroll saw). To cut long boards down to smaller lengths, a miter saw, circular saw, or jigsaw is recommended. An orbital sander is also suggested for a smooth finish.

Perfect! Day 1 is specifically designed for beginners. I'll show you exactly how to use a scroll saw safely and effectively - no prior experience needed. You'll learn proper technique, safety tips, and how to get smooth, professional cuts.

You don't need to be! Day 3 covers multiple finishing techniques - from super simple stains to easy painting methods. I'll show you foolproof ways to make your Highlander look amazing, even if you've never painted before.

That's exactly why Day 1 exists! I'll tell you the exact type, size, and thickness of wood to buy. Plus, this project is forgiving - it works with plywood OR pine boards, whatever you have access to or prefer.
